Successful Open House on February 22, 2010

The snow cancelled the orignally scheduled Open House, but that didn't deter thousnds of people from descending upon the Brooklyn Tech Facility to have a look. The players, Coach Spann and I spoke to many potential student-athletes and parents for two hours, explaining what our program offers, both athletically and academically. Over 30 young men signed up and gave us their information. It is our hope that the class of 2014 is as talented as the class of 2013, which welcomed in the likes of Zarique March, James Gales and others.

Brooklyn Tech Winter Sports

I wanted to take some time to recognize the exceptional season that the Brooklyn Tech Wrestling team had in 09-10, coming very close to winning a City Championship. It was an honor to see you compete and so I am so impressed with the way you all went about honing your craft and fighting tooth and nail to the very end. It is my sincere hope that football and wrestling can be a linked pipeline, sending each other serious, committed athletes that will show the city of New York just what we are made of.

I wish the best of luck to the JV and Varsity Basketball teams and hope that you too can come on board. I believe that if the full power of the current Brooklyn Tech population is harnessed, we will be an unstoppable force within the PSAL.

Keep up the great work....

Sincerely,
Coach McKenna
